PROJECT BRIEF

Terraplas PLC manufacture turf protection systems, they required a video to illustrate how their tile product works when in use.

THE CHALLENGE

It was requested that we show not only how the tile works but also to rotate around and underneath the product to show what happens to turf when the tile is placed on top.

THE SOLUTION

3D animation was used to illustrate how the Terraplas title works. This way we could rotate in and around the product and show the results of changing temperatures. Through detailed illustration we were able to build an animatic of the tile, which we could then model into a 3D object. We wanted to show how the tile interacts with the grass and the elements.
